They were right. Demons and Humans were just incompatible seeds. Neither could grow together, lest they destroy the earth they grow upon. The future that was foretold would come true, and there was nothing she could do about it.
Deathpolca was fine with it. She had forgiven them. The future had been set in stone, and she was but a fool to think she could go against it. She was fine with this death. She was satisfied.
If only she could stay dead.
(i.e. Deathpolca gets thrown back in time, causes a lot of misunderstandings, finds her family again, gets the hugs she sorely deserves, and saves the word twice over)

Summary
After almost a year of isolation, Sunny is visited by the spirit of Mari, who consoles her hurt little brother, and asks him to try and bring the gang back together, so that they can finally heal. With some words of encouragement, and a little blessing from Mari. Sunny tries his best to do what Mari wants him to, what she would have done if their places were swapped.
Also, since it’s only been a year, Headspace isn’t fully formed/realized yet, it’s still there, same with his delusions, they’re there, but only vaguely, aside from Something. Omori doesn’t fully exist yet. Aubrey still joins the hooligans, dyes her hair pink, and carries a spiked bat. Hero is still locked away in his room. Kel is kel.

Summary
In which, instead of Kel being the one to get Sunny out of his shell, its Aubrey and the rest of the Hooligans. Shenanigans ensue, and Sunny learns to deal with his emotions in ways that are not even arguably heathly. But hey, at least he got out of the house, right?

Also inspiration taken from the artwork's comments on reddit (mainly the idea of Sunny knowing how to do tricks with a butterfly knife).

Act I
Sunny has had enough. Mari.. He loved her so much but... How could she say all those hurtful things to him?! He was trying his best, his hands were blistered... Even his father didn't recognize his efforts..
Enough is enough.
Sunny will stand up for himself , He'll show everyone that he is as Capable as mari.
Act II
Aubrey always felt alone. Isolated. Even if she had friends who cared for her very much, she could never be truly sure if they all truly loved her the same way she loved them.
But when a single action by her father turned her whole life upside down she was hurt in a way no one else understood. There she was depending on others again and again and never giving anything back... She hated that. She hated herself.
