Summary
Spock, fed up with Stonn's attempts to elicit an emotional response from him, lies and says he has a significant other. Stonn is skeptical of his claim and when they have another run in a few days later, calls Spock out on the apparent lie. Spock doesn't want to give his cousin the satisfaction of knowing he lied, grabs the nearest beauty he sees and introduces Stonn to his boyfriend, Jim. Jim goes along with it and finds it amusing. Stonn leaves, obliviously jealous of Spock's new boyfriend, but ends up telling the whole family about Jim.
Now the family insists that Spock bring Jim to a family gathering on Vulcan.
Spock has dug himself a hole but at least Jim agrees to help. Will they be able to keep the ruse going? (Perhaps) Will feelings get in the way of their planned break-up after the gathering? (Definitely) Will Spock's Vulcan family adore Jim? (Of course they will!)- Language:

The music is fine, but the people are unbearable. All the backstabbing simpering society climbing omegas that look down at him for the – unwanted – attention he receives from the boorish, old money alphas, who look at him like he’s a piece of meat, caring only for his body and his last name.
Also, he might have just imprinted on some alpha doctor with a foreign accent and beautifully tempting monsters in his compelling dark eyes, whom his sister thinks has a ‘serial killer face.’
Will thinks it’s possible that she’s more right than she knows. It’s also possible that Will could care less.
Will is going to need something much stronger than this champagne.

Recently he was promoted to Second Grade Detective-Investigator because of two large drug deals he foresaw which allowed the NYPD a leg up on the recent emersion of a new organized crime group. Somehow the idiots still decided to move him to a different precinct to focus on homicides in the south end instead of continuing to bust cocaine dealers that were rolling in blood money; He's not really bitter about it.
