Summary
Wanderers is a series based on the adventures and drama of a pair of dogs, mother and daughter, as they leave an abandoned city behind and venture into the forest, encountering packs of other stray dogs and other difficulties while trying to find their forever home. The setting primarily follows the Wandering River, lingering in a forest beyond a city inhabited only by abandoned strays, now turned into a violent pack. Two other, much smaller packs of stray dogs live in the forest on different sides of the river. The idea of this work is heavily inspired by Erin Hunter's Warriors and Survivors, however, there are no actual connections or shared lore. The story was also inspired by research on Chernobyl and the stray dog population in that area, however the world itself is fantasy and not the exact location.
Thanks for your very helpful feedback toward plotline development! After a long pause, this story is returning with a lot more slow-burn and development in the plotline. Feel free to suggest some ideas, or offer feedback as I publish chapters.

Summary
Night's Harmony Glade is a beautifully mystifying place, occupied by the forest elves who live in separate villages: Daenar, Lastvar, Millonar, and Reaavar. The colonies have been at peace for three years. Now, that peace is threatened by an interesting discovery. Will Mailune be able to prevent an all-out war between all four colonies? The sheriff is being interviewed on screen, droning on about things Usan already knows. The crime scene is in the background, but Usan doesn’t need to see it to know he was there last night.
