Summary
The Doctor had settled into life with the Noble family. The metacrisis had finally dissipated and all seemed fine from the surface, but he could tell there was somethig more. Something even Donna struggled to talk about. Another child, one who was reckless, reclusive, rebellious and constantly moving. One who never felt like they fit in. One who was too smart for their own good, always flying miles ahead while everyone else struggled to keep up. So Eclipse stayed away. Showing up when convenient with weeks, occasionally months passing between.
But there is something more beneath the surface, and the Doctor can't help himself from trying to help and heal the wounds running deep amongst the Noble family.
As impossible truths begin to unravel, hidden forces come to light. And one impossible fact comes to light. The Doctor himself may not be able to save them this time. Not on his own. -

Summary
An alternate universe where Lydia is a highly sensitive medium who's abilities awaken after Emily's death. Charles is extremely skeptical but plays along with it in the beginning when Lydia tells him about the 'ghosts' in the attic.
But when she begins to speak of a demon tormenting her, experiences horrific night terrors each night, and falling into spontaneous dazes and panic attacks blaming them all on the demon, Charles becomes concerned and decides to find a therapist for her.
Lydia of course is enraged by this, but as she learns to navigate a series of unhelpful therapists, she finds herself learning to reach out for her father for help. Simultaneously, Charles finds there may be more truth to Lydia's tales than he first believed, and works to become the father he wants to be and who Lydia needs so desparately. -

Beetlejuice and Lydia have possessed the house. With the living gone and the Maitlands cowering in the attic, Lydia finds a free moment to explore the house on her own terms.
With Beetlejuice's back turned she decides to investigate the one room left untouched: the basement.
She finds much more than she bargained for. Is this demon truly trustworthy? And is there more to the history of the Maitlands' home than she knew of? -

Lost for words, she held the girl at arm’s length, wanting desperately to ask her “What were you thinking?” or something, something to relieve the tension and stress. To understand why. But no such words came and she was left to do the only other thing she felt there was to do. Wrap the trembling girl in her arms in a mother’s embrace.

Summary
After impulsively stealing her from the living world as a baby, Beetlejuice takes it upon himself to raise Lydia as a half-feral honorary demon and Resident Nuisance to the Department for the Recently Deceased. And they both expect her life to continue in much the same way - until, at fifteen, she's finally allowed to assist in a bio-exorcism, accompanying her caretaker to assist in the removal of one Charles Deetz.

Barbara stopped mid pacing and turned, floating there as she glanced at her husband. “But you don’t know that, Adam! Literally anything could happen to her. Like what if she—”

Lydia shifted as well, tightening her grip on Barbara. The next thing the teenager murmured out, took the Maitlands by complete surprise.

Or: the first time Lydia called Barbara “mom” wasn’t entirely a mistake.
