Summary
Canon divergence starting at the end of s1, based on: What if Steve didn't have his random heel face turn so Nancy and Jonathan wasn't interrupted on the couch before fighting the Demogorgon? What if Jonathan went after Nancy at the hospital? And what about the actual fallout from the events of that week, as depicted in the newspaper articles at the end of the season?
Basically a multichapter alternate retelling of Stranger Things, where I would've liked the show to have gone after s1 instead of where it went. Jancy focused but will incorporate everyone else from s1 and a few from s2, and deal with the Upside Down, the Lab, the monsters and conspiracy, in a different way than canon did post s1.

“Well it just so happens that I have a car. And I’m driving down. So what do you say to me picking you up on the way? I mean, I’ll be passing through there anyway. Then you wouldn’t have to pay for a plane ticket.” Nancy explained.
Jonathan was quiet for a moment. “Yeah, that’s uh … that’s fine. Yeah, that works.”
Nancy decides to pick up Jonathan on their way back to Hawkins for their brothers' high school graduation.
