Summary
It’s a law of nature, for children to grow up. That was always difficult for Wilbur to accept. Fundy was born perfect, there wasn’t a single thing Wilbur would have changed, and he kept changing anyway until Wilbur could barely recognize him.
He recognizes him now. Under all that change, under all those new things and all that new history that Wilbur knows nothing about, Fundy is still Fundy, and Wilbur can’t help but smile.
“Hi, man,” he says, “long time no see.”

It's been a decade since Wilbur watched Fundy take his second life in front of him. Wilbur never stopped looking for him.

“You’re afraid he’ll run?”
“He’s a bit skittish, for sure.” Phil sighed and drug a hand down his face. “I don’t want to force him to stay, if he wishes to leave, but…” He paused and approached the counter to set down the stack of clothes and start re-folding them, if only to have something distracting to do with his hands. “I don’t think it’s best for him to be on his own, either.”
“Well,” Niki halted her work and moved to lean on the counter in front of Phil. Her dark eyes met his. “Has he tried to run before?”
“No, but-“
“Does he seem to like it there?”
Phil faltered. “Uh.. I think? He seemed pretty eager to learn how to maintain the fire and gather water…”
“Then don’t be so worried. He’s not going anywhere. Really, Phil, you have to trust him.” Niki smiled softly.
“I haven’t known him long, and he’s still a child.” Phil argued weakly.
“You’re trying to get him to trust you, right?” Niki asked, but Phil knew it was rhetorical, so he did little more than nod weakly. “Then extend to him the same courtesy.”

Summary
Tommy has been held captive by aliens for god knows how long, when one day they drop an alien in his cell with the expectation he'll kill it. But little do they know that humans aren't actually bloodthirsty beasts. Instead, a terrified Wilbur realizes he's been dropped in a cell with a teenager far from home and in over his head. Tommy makes it his mission to get him and Wilbur out, and Wilbur makes it his mission to convince his family that humans aren't anything to be feared, and somehow along the way Tommy finds family in a birdman, a giant pig dude, and a shark looking man.

Humans are space orcs, considered the most dangerous creatures in the galaxy; no one has seen one and lived to tell the tale. Dream gets his hands on one to use as a weapon, but it fails horribly and Tommy is snatched by sbi. But not before scaring the shit out of every alien he meets and biting off a finger... or two.... But hey, at least he got two terrifying alien brothers and a dad out of it!
