Bruce was always far more fortunate that most people, he understood that, he was born into riches and raised by his Butler. It was because of his fortune that he was able to do what he does, Batman would be nowhere without Bruce Wayne.
He is aware of all of this, which is why he has to play the part of Bruce Wayne just as well as the part of Batman.
