Summary
Wèi Wúxiàn nearly dies at Nightless City from a mortal wound after it is discovered that he has no golden core. When the dust settles, Jiāng Chéng insists that they return to Bàoshān Sànrén. Wèi Wúxiàn refuses, stating that they had lied to her, and she would refuse to help them. Jiāng Chéng can't live with the knowledge that he took this chance away from his brother, and returns to the mountain range in search of the immortal.
_____He fights away the desperate tears that are building in the back of his throat. There is so much left to be done. He knows that he should probably be conferring with the other sects, helping to lead the last efforts at play. Capturing the remaining Wēn, solidifying Yúnmèng Jiāng’s position at the end of this alliance and the Sunshot Campaign. But he’s lost so much. The Jiāng clan has lost so much. They cannot lose their dà-shīxiōng now. Not when he is the embodiment of their sect. For the first time in his life, this knowledge doesn’t make him angry or resentful. He’s only fearful of losing it.

He wants this to be over, so he can stuff himself back into his skin that feels too tight for him even as he cram’s his legs back into skinny jeans and his horny back into the recesses of his mind. His drive home will be torture, but then he can go collapse into bed and ride his largest dildo until he’s dehydrated and he can forget the feeling of this man’s hands on his skin.
He suffers through it as Lán Zhàn grips his calf, holding his leg aloft as he pulls the sheet into place. He ignores the stretch of it, ignores his brain as it pleads with Lán Zhàn. Those unforgivable hands stutter to a stop as Wèi Yīng shifts, and when he looks up, Lán Zhàn is watching him, waiting. It’s as if he’s daring Wèi Yīng to say something, to take some sort of step. -

Summary
"You're not pregnant?" He asks, voice trembling.
"No?" Niè Huáisāng sounds oh so very confused.
"But... I found pregnancy tests. In the bathroom."
"Well, they weren't mine." The next moment is tenuous, as the implication settles into the room. Jiāng Chéng sets the little purple booties on the edge of the couch, and rubs one finger along the ring, now snug on Niè Huáisāng's finger. Wèi Wúxiàn barges in at that exact moment, pausing in the doorway as he looks to each of them, a confused look on his face. And that's when it hits Jiāng Chéng. He is honor-bound to murder Lan Wangji for despoiling his brother and make him take responsibility.
"I'm gonna kill him," he growls as he stands, storming out of the apartment and grabbing Sāndú on his way.------
In which Jiang Cheng thinks Nie Huaisang is pregnant, and finally decides to put a ring on it. But when he comes to find that Nie Huaisang isn't pregnant, he assumes that Wei Wuxian must be the one that's knocked up, and decides to murder Lan Wangji about it, because he assumes that they have been seeing each other in secret.
There's just one problem, Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji are just friends.Series

Summary
Jiāng Chéng invites Wèi Wúxiàn to Lotus Pier for the first time since the events of canon, at the insistence of Cheif Cultivator Niè Huáisāng. Things are strained. Jiāng Chéng is channeling Madam Yú, the juniors try to run interference, and Wèi Wúxiàn has to cope with the memories of his childhood and the tragedy that followed. Meanwhile, Lán Xīchén is trying to keep his brother from murdering a Sect Leader, and poor Wēn Níng (who wasn't even invited,) is the only one working on unraveling the mystery surrounding the Night Hunt they'd all been gathered for.
Shenanigans and hijinks aplenty, this is the sequel to Jiǎo Tù Sān Kū, where-in Jiāng Chéng is forced to partake in some pretty serious introspection. If you liked bunny LQR, it is my dearest hope that you will like this too!
