Until one day At-Attin is attacked by pirates, the main city is hugely destroyed, and Maratelle is assigned to surveil and recondition the captured Jod Na Nawood. Something about the small family catches his eye, and that interest sets Jod on course for more dangerous, exciting, romantic, bloody pirate adventures with a brand-new crew.
