The next time Kudo opens his eyes, he’s stumbling, choking as his limbs regain feeling.
He falls to his knees—which slam into what appears to be concrete, and tries to catch his breath. Though no matter how hard he tries, no air seems to be surrounding him, it’s hopeless. Is this what the afterlife will be? A constant reminder of how he died?
When he looks down he notices his uniform is no longer dirty, his hands are no longer bloodstained and his face feels clean.
Then, he looks up,
And red eyes meet green.

He wakes up to a throbbing headache, and the driest, scratchiest throat ever.
Skandar hadn’t been sick since way before he arrived at the Eyrie. That was ..at-least almost a year and a half ago. He’d almost forgotten how awful it was. But he’d been so busy being a unicorn rider he hadn’t thought of the risk of training even while it’s raining.
And that’s what he did yesterday, so now he’s suffering the consequences. Go Skandar!!

He could’ve stayed with Kenna, Stayed with his father. He could’ve just never left with Agatha- His aunt. His mum was the weaver, but if he stayed he would’ve never known. Or would he? Well, there’s no point in thinking about the past when he’s about to die.
