On nights like these where Steve felt his worst, he took solace and safety in going home to Eddie. The trailer park was messy, one too many leaks that had never been fixed, but it was home.
Perhaps it was actually Eddie who was home, his arms giving Steve safety from his own thoughts. Home was not an option tonight, and Steve had driven to Loch Nora with a heavy heart.

If anyone asked Eddie how he feels about Starcourt, without stuttering he would tell you it’s stupid and way too busy for his liking. On a day he was feeling a little more honest, perhaps he would say he doesn’t really like the mall, but the air conditioning is a plus.
