Each episode focuses on a different sect, and we get a rare back-stage glimpse into the inner workings of some of the most powerful and mysterious groups in the cultivation world.
But that summary doesn't do the documentary justice. The filmmakers use the framing of the cultivation conference to expose petty jealousy, family tension, and genuine tragedy, counterbalanced with some hilarious moments (not all of them intentional) and even a hint of romance.
