Summary
When the Doctor and Donna take an unexpected detour to an orphanage, they find a mysterious little girl named Lana Phillips with incredibly strong psychic abilities—and those powers are getting her noticed, not just by the Doctor.
But he rescues her too late, because by the time he and Donna find her again, she has been captured and experimented on by remnants of Torchwood for ten years, her powers suppressed to be used as a weapon.
She escapes with the Doctor’s help and begins to travel with him and Donna, but it becomes quickly evident that her unusual psychic abilities are only growing. The Doctor is determined to find out who, exactly, Lana Phillips is, but there is one problem: Lana doesn’t know, either.

Megumi’s birthday is December 22nd. He knows this because it’s on the calendar in his first grade class. When Tsumiki finds out, she promises she’s going to do something for his birthday, but he knows they can’t use money for something like that. But when the crazy white-haired guy shows up again, Megumi knows that Gojo can make sure that Tsumiki won’t spend money on him. He’s an adult, and adults don’t spend money on Megumi. It’s a foolproof plan.

“You have to—you have to promise.” Yuji sobs, his hands pressed into his face. He can’t tell what’s real. Is he still dreaming?
“What do you want me to promise?”
“Need you to promise—you have to—Gojo, you’ll kill me.” As soon as Yuji pushes the words out, his chest stops heaving.
Gojo is silent, standing above him in Yuji’s pitch-black room. Why does he look so sad?
