Summary
In 1814, Colin went to bed in Bridgerton House the day he returned from Greece. When he awakens after what seems like a normal night’s sleep, it’s 1816, he’s married to Penelope, and they have a four-month-old son. With no knowledge of what has happened in the previous two years, Colin tries to navigate a life that is very different from the one he left behind. Meanwhile, Penelope navigates being married to a version of Colin who does not remember their life together or their love for each other.
This is a companion fic to Here We Go Again, in which a happily married Colin goes to bed in 1816 but wakes up shortly after he returns from Greece in 1814. You do NOT need to have read Here We Go Again to read this. While there will be intentional connections and parallels, the two stories are independent.
