Summary
Tim Drake wasn't always a Drake, and he wasn't always a Gothamite. Instead, Tim was born into a world far worse than what even Gotham has to offer, and that world isn't through with him just yet. He may have escaped Rapture's claws once, but the city never truly lets one of its own go.

Tim was one of the rare instances of a Little Brother surviving the Little Sisters program. He was rescued, adopted by the Drakes, and set to live as normal a life as a Gotham Vigilante could. Robin’s fingers caught the edge of the bandages wrapped around Nero’s arm. Nero tried to twist away, but the wrappings came partially undone. Red scales and glowing blue veins revealed themselves. Nero moved his arm behind his back, but it was too late. Robin had seen.
“You’re a meta,” Robin said. Nero felt shame course through him. He didn’t know what a meta was, but he would have to be an idiot not to hear the obvious disgust in Robin’s voice.

While Ray and Emma are taking rounds watching the other kids, Ray encounters a rouge demon near camp. He figured it was best to lead it away, then kill it, as to not wake the children. They begin a chase, he gets injured and kills the demon. Finding himself lost and injured, he put his quiver in his satchel and took a break against a rock. Sleep and exhaustion slowly started to take him, but before it could, a bright light startled him awake, finally, he had passed out unwillingly.
