The full moon shone as two forms shuffled along, chuckles and banter bouncing between them in a familiar, routinely manner. Plastic bags with the old gas station’s name printed across rustled with the swing of their walks, cans, bottles, and smaller bags pressing and clinking together inside.
As Brian followed along, he hummed. His eyes flicked to the side, to the wooden benches just a few feet from the big park sign, a boy sat on the creaky and weather warped wood, a guitar in his arms that occasionally let out an old barely tuned tone with a pluck of the finger.
Noah gently jabs a bony elbow into Brian’s hip, snickering for a second before opening his mouth, “Must be new around here, maybe he’s that psycho I heard about.” He said, giving another elbow, waiting for a familiar laugh.
Brian raised a brow, “Psycho?” he asked.

Pulling his legs to his chest, Tim slammed his fist onto the keyboard angrily, stifling a sob as tears flooded his eyes. Why wasn’t this working? Why was nothing working today? Tim gasped for air as he hugged his legs, trying earnestly not to break down and cry. He wasn’t a kid, for fuck’s sake. He was a Drake at that. Drakes didn’t cry.
“Baby Bird?”
In his emotional turmoil, Tim had somehow not heard Jason ride into the Cave on his bike. Useless. Why couldn’t he do better? He was supposed to be Robin!
For a second, he tried to tell Jason to go away. To leave him alone just like everybody else had in his life. Instead of that, a loud sob escaped his treacherous mouth. Not even his mouth liked him…

A sudden, sharp burst of agony shot through his body as something slammed into his head. The world spun under his feet, a sharp ring accompanying it. Mikey staggered, disorientated, his mind too busy trying to process what happened.
He didn’t even notice when he was being dragged towards the edge of the boat.
He didn’t hear his brothers screaming his name, desperately trying to get to him through a sudden swarm of soldiers.
He never realized until he was plummeting towards violent crashing waves, helpless in the hands of his fate.

Wincing, Leo’s gaze shifts over to his youngest brother who’s now curled up on the floor with Raph’s head in his lap and their father is at their side. He meets Splinter’s eyes and looks down at the sight of his sword in his tiny hand. He wants to laugh, how fitting. He sends Splinter a single nod and braces himself for the inevitable — but then; he hears Shredder snarling above him — and his world goes straight to hell.
The Shredder presses his foot down harder onto Leo’s shell, his sharp talons scratching the surface, and then there’s a sickening sound that echoes.
