Lady Yavanna seemed to have had mercy on him, as nobody dared but to look at him for a few seconds and utter a 'Greetings young man'. He'd have burst into tears if anybody offered condolences or somesuch.

Kassvin gets vibechecked so hard he loses nearly all of his memories, with this factory reset he never wanted he endeavors to discover who he was as he slowly recovers. Luckily a distantly familiar face is there to help him remember their shared past and rekindle their love of yore.
As he tries his best to regain his most priceous moments he makes new ones. In his relentless search for a way back he discovers that he's home as long as he's with who he loves.
(I don't like chapter 1, now that I look back over a year later. If you don't like it either just skip it, it gets better and it's mostly useless as a mood setter and Kassvin introducer chapter. I may rewrite it later)
