    Summary

Shane Hollander, 19, Russian Studies student at uOttawa, baby gay, is roped into a hair-brained plan by his best friend, Dominika Rozanova—come home to Boston with her for winter break and pretend to be her loving fiancé so her visiting aunt will stop lecturing her about being perpetually single. He’s promised two weeks of great food, and a chance to improve his grasp of the language and their culture to help with his studies.

Ilya Rozanov, 19, Boston University’s star center, and Dominika’s twin brother, is also there.

    Summary

Shane Hollander is Harbor High’s quiet hockey star: brilliant, disciplined, closeted, destined for the NHL, admired from distance but never understood. When his mother Yuna brings home Ilya Rozanov, a sharp-tongued Russian teen with nowhere left to go, Shane’s carefully controlled life begins to unravel. Ilya is carrying grief, secrets, and a past everyone is eager to judge. He is also annoying and now he's living in Shane's family's poolhouse. Shane can't stop looking at him.

Thrown together by circumstance, school, and (bad) parental choices, Shane and Ilya become impossible for each other to ignore. In a sunny world full of beach-house parties, polished lies, rich-kid cruelty, and hidden longing, their tangled up lives turns into something more dangerously exhilarating: love.

Or: Heated Rivalry, but make it The OC.

    Summary

Shane Hollander begins his NHL career unchallenged when Ilya Rozanov enters the KHL after World Juniors. One season of being allowed to terrorize the ice and the Winner’s Room is enough for Boston to drag Ilya out of Russia.

What they had not accounted for in releasing a second generational talent into the league was that not all predators are solitary. Ilya may want to bring Hollander to his knees, but he wants to present the defeat of an inferior player to his feet first.

He just has to convince Hollander to let him.

Because he meets Shane Hollander, and suddenly all he can think about is his freckles and how to steal him from his stupid boyfriend, who also happens to be Ilya's teammate.

    Summary

    Shane Hollander knows three things:
Ilya is off‑limits, the kiss should’ve never happened, and ignoring it didn’t make it go away.

Now he’s freshly graduated with one last summer before leaving for NYU - one last summer to keep his head down, avoid old feelings, and pretend he’s totally fine. But after months of radio silence, Ilya is back. And Shane is running out of excuses for why his heart still stutters every time he hears “Hollander.”

One last summer. One unresolved kiss. One disaster waiting to happen.

OR Ilya is Shane’s older brother’s best friend, the boy he’s always drifted toward without meaning to, and now they’re stuck navigating their complicated almost‑something relationship under the same roof.
