Short summary: Nezumi is a human weapon whose dangerous abilities are unleashed against his will whenever he experiences extreme emotion—both negative and positive.
**
Long summary: As a child, Nezumi was experimented upon by a controversial military sector attempting to develop weapons out of human beings. These experiments were successful in that they gave Nezumi special powers - the ability to destroy both objects and people with his mind, a weapon triggered by bouts of extreme emotion.
Nezumi escapes his captors as a child, and sixteen years later, he is indistinguishable from any normal, harmless human. He has learned to prevent himself from unintentionally unleashing his powers by keeping his emotions, always, securely under wraps.
That is, until he meets Shion and starts to feel things he has never felt—things he has no idea how to suppress.

Summary
Shion is a world famous five-time gold medalist ice skater who just completed his eighth season of ice skating and is already training for his ninth. Nezumi is a ballet performer at a theater in Tokyo who has just been discovered by a film producer and promptly cast in his first feature film - a film that requires him to learn to ice skate. Nezumi's agent hires Shion to coach him, and Shion agrees, swept away by Nezumi's beauty and ignoring his lack of any actual coaching experience.

Nezumi tightened the bows of his laces, stood up in a careful way. Shion looked up at him, the length of him. He was tall, long-limbed. He wore a baggy sweater with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows that fell loosely over the black leggings clinging to the length of his legs. The sweater was sky blue and said Cinderella on the front with pale pink letters. The back said CAST – NEZUMI.
“No,” Nezumi said. He had a low voice, but it projected, as if he was always on stage, whispering for an audience. Shion found himself leaning forward with each word Nezumi spoke. Summary
Many years ago, I wrote a fic called "A Fraction of Time," in which Nezumi was stuck at age 20 forever. Shion was 6 years old when he came into Nezumi's life, and Nezumi had been alive (and stuck at 20) by that point for a century. Years passed, Shion grew up, and Nezumi didn't - there was love, heartbreak, death, the whole shebang.
A few months ago, I decided to rewrite that fic. The premise is the same, the plot is not. Whether you read the original back in the day or you've never heard of it, I hope you enjoy this one.

Summary
Inspired by Lord of the Flies, Stephen King, and Guillermo del Toro. I wanted to write a horror/thriller/psychological story. In 2006 nine teens were getting ready for the Academic Decathlon a televised competition with their teacher. However, while driving through the mountains the van that carried everyone careened off the side of the mountain. There is no cellphone service. There are no adults. The teens are left to themselves to survive and the darkness and ugliness comes out as they claw their way to survival in the dangerous mountain terrain. They're starving and thirsty. They happen upon an abandon campsite and things aren't as they appear. Something happened to the previous camper that is outlined in haunting entries on a map left behind, and what happened to the previous camper seems to be affecting and infecting them. Are things really as they appear and really happening, or are they all sharing in the same delusion? WILL UPDATE AS STORY PROGRESSES

At random and always at the age of eighteen, a small percentage of the population develop a rare disease called amoritis. Its physical symptoms are a sudden change in appearance to red eyes, white hair, and a raised pink scar, but its main symptom is the most notorious - anyone who falls in love with an amoritis host will die.
Shion develops amoritis when he turns eighteen, and Nezumi tries to survive.

Shion smiled. The guy, Nezumi was beginning to realize, was not normal. “Sure. You don’t seem dangerous to me.”
Nezumi weaved his fingers through his bangs to push them off his forehead. “Maybe you haven’t heard – I’m the last surviving FireMaster.
