“Let me get this straight. You told your Nana I’m your boyfriend about a month ago, mind you.” Will paused, waiting for Mike to nod. Mike obediently nodded.
“And you waited until…” Will checked his wristwatch, his eyes narrowing as he did the math. “…three hours before her birthday party to tell me?”
Mike swallowed nervously and nodded again. Will just stared at him. Then he scoffed, like he genuinely couldn’t believe this was happening.
“What the hell is wrong with you, Michael?”
