And that's when he sees him again, standing more at the front of the bar. It's only been over 10 months, but it feels a lot longer somehow. And truthfully, seeing the love of his life on New Year's Eve.. is just the most magical thing to him. He practically runs and pushes the people away as he urges himself towards him.
"Hey baby." Hoseok whispers into his ear as he stands behind him. He licks his lips, a big smile blooming as Taehyung turns around.
Taehyung's face goes from joy, to blank, to shock and then to something Hoseok can't quite pin down. His mouth becomes this perfect O, and his eyes almost pop out of his sockets. He closes his mouth, opens it again only to close it, again.

Hoseok, who's in the military, gets the opportunity to go on leave. He decides it's the perfect opportunity to surprise Taehyung on New Year's Eve. Things get a bit spicy.
