Summary
The door opens just enough for Martin to peek in, and Jon immediately knows what's brought him here. Martin is hazy in the faint light, his outline blurred and almost nonexistent in places, the lenses of his glasses fogged and concealing his eyes.
"Sorry," Martin whispers, his voice small and distant. "I don't think I should be alone right now."
"It's alright." Jon pats the bed next to him. "Why don't you sit with me for a while?"

Hero is in the center of the construct, just as Paranoid had hoped. He's sound asleep, enough that he doesn't stir until Paranoid curls up against him. He cracks open an eye and considers the smaller form now sharing his bed. "Can't sleep?"
"No." As if on cue, Paranoid shivers. "It's too cold."

Paranoid can't sleep in these conditions, so he seeks out warmth and comfort elsewhere. There's only one voice he can think to turn to in a situation like this.

Yuta brushes Hinata’s hair from his forehead gently before placing a damp cloth there. It feels strange to be looking after him like this. Yuta has memories of Hinata being sick, sure, but he’d certainly never allowed Yuta to take care of him.
Well, he’s sure that if Hinata were aware enough, he wouldn’t be letting Yuta take care of him this time, either.

Yu eventually spotted a familiar face among the crowd, pressed up against a building to avoid as much of the shower as he could. With his blue hair slicked down and clothes dripping nonstop, he looked for all the world like one of the stray cats Yu often cared for. Still, there was no mistaking who it was. Yu quickly changed course and headed for his friend’s hiding spot.
He came to a stop in front of the boy and offered up a smile. “Minato, hi.”

If Mika had decided to go somewhere, why hadn’t he let Shu know? Practically the first thing he did each time he arrived at or left the house was tell Shu about it. And why wasn’t he answering his phone?
Shu hung up with as much force as he could put behind tapping a button. Not for the first time, he lamented that society’s transition to smartphones had come with the loss of the ability to end a call with a slam. Mika was always a bit careless, but this was a new low. Didn’t he know it was important to always be reachable?
