Summary
“And what if I don’t wanna fight anymore? What if I’ve shed enough blood for two lifetimes?” The words are out before Bucky has even finished thinking them, but he can feel the weight of them, feel their truth. This is why I’m so tired… I want the fight to end. “I can’t be on your six anymore Stevie. Once this mess is sorted I’m done. I’m sorry.”
Steve staggers backwards like Bucky’s words are a punch to his gut. He finds a seat and slumps into it, his shoulders hunched with the weight of Bucky’s truth. His mouth opens and closes without uttering a word and Bucky feels like a heel for causing him this pain. He knows it’s the last thing Steve expected to hear.

If there's trouble in Avengers Tower on April 1st Barton is usually at the bottom of it - probably in the vents, gorging on donuts and soda, and laughing his head off.

Summary
The war has changed Bucky. There’s an edge to him now. A darkness lurking beneath the surface. Steve doesn’t know if he was like this before he dragged him from Zola’s hellhole, but he supposes it doesn’t matter exactly when it happened. Just that it did. This isn’t the man who left him behind in Brooklyn. Steve doesn’t know how to reach him, how to save him from himself. What he does know is his sergeant will kill himself if he keeps going on like this. And the thought of Bucky dying makes his stomach clench in dread.

Summary
Tony Stark has a colourful history. He's not ashamed of it. He just doesn't want to deal with certain people knowing the precise details. Fallout is tedious and Tony doesn't do tedious.
Peter Parker spends his weekend visits to the Avengers Facility in awe of the other superheroes. Until he discovers there is information being kept from him on purpose. Peter's not a kid, dammit! Why does everyone treat him like one?
Steve Rogers just wanted to spend some time sketching in peace. He regrets opening his mouth. He regrets even more poking his nose where it didn't belong.
Clint Barton is usually the cause of the trouble, but this time he's an amused spectator to events not of his making. This makes him very happy, though he expects his reprieve not to last long.
