    “I want to see you again.” said Louis bluntly.
    “What?” Harry blinked.
    “Come on, Harold.” he said, leaning in. “You’re getting shy on me now? After last night?”
    “I want to see you again too.” he scrunched up his nose. "So much."
    “But?”
    Harry took a deep shaky breath.
    “I don’t want to be in a relationship, Louis.” blue eyes met green. “I really, really don’t.”
    Louis just seemed to study him, still stroking the skin of Harry's shoulder absentmindedly.
    “Can I be blunt with you, Harry?”
    “Always.”
    “First, it's fine by me because I have absolutely no interest in a relationship either.” at that, Harry perked up slightly and it made Louis smile softly. “But can I ask why you don’t? Because you seem pretty adamant about that. In a way I have not seen in a long time."
    Harry swallowed dryly and looked down again.
    “It’s complicated.”

    Or - Harry is a vet, Louis a soldier. They met one night at a bar and the connection is immediate. They've both been pretty hurt before though and don't want anything serious so they decide to keep things casual... because that always goes well, right?

    A parte confusa é que ele quer dizer tudo o que diz.

    O príncipe mais jovem de seu clã, Harry, está noivo do príncipe herdeiro de outro clã desde o nascimento. Todo mundo diz que ele tem tanta sorte de se casar com um dos homens mais respeitados e poderosos do planeta, mas Harry sabe melhor.

    Ele o odeia com cada fibra de seu ser. Louis é um bastardo frio, interesseiro e arrogante que usa táticas dissimuladas para alcançar seus objetivos e que ignora Harry ou critica tudo sobre ele. Harry não o suporta, e ele está disposto a fazer qualquer coisa para sair do casamento arranjado com um homem que ele abomina.

    Mas a linha entre ódio febril e paixão pode ser muito tênue, e acontece que a liberdade não é tão atraente quanto parecia.

    É confuso sentir falta de um homem que você detesta?
