It was a small gesture, but Ciel felt that it was a needed one. After all, Sebastian trembled as if he would snap at any moment.
His most loyal servant looked to be preoccupied with bathing him, but he could see the faint differences in the creature's appearance. His eyes were too bright, his nails a little too sharp, his hair a fraction too long; that was not to mention the darkened, twilit aura radiating from his kneeling form.
His demon was not hungry, he was starving.

Possibly my favorite ever Black Butler fanfic! Ciel and Sebastian were so in character. It was absolutely stunning from start to finish!

I love love love this story. The range of diction the author uses is canonically perfect. I loved both Ciel and Sebastions voice, they were spot on.

I love this universe so much. Wren is alot like my player character. I love Hufflepuff and Slytherin together, and these three just do something to me. This story was amazing, I loved it all.
