Summary
At eighteen, the world already expects perfection from them. Max carries the weight of a father who sees him as nothing more than a project to break and rebuild. Charles on the other hand, hides his own grief behind the polished smile expected of a prodigy. On the track, they're meant to fight each other. Off the track, Charles is the only one to see through the cracks in Max's armor and he is the only one patient enough to hold him together.
Both Max and Charles are eighteen in this fic, they joined in 2024 when they were 17. Everyone else is the same age only Max and Charles are younger. They are also both on Red Bull because I said so. Carlos is still at Ferrari with Lewis, and Yuki is with Alex at Williams. Max’s 2024 placing are the same as 2017.Charles are the same as 2018. 2025 placings will stay the same for both of them. Is it very believable for just their second season? No, but we live, laugh, love, and ignore that for the purpose of this fic.

Lando has a secret. While others presented early in life, he has not. Everyone assumes he’s a beta. A dramatic beta. A fighting-for-the-championship beta. An insecure beta.
And that’s good, because Alphas are usually assholes and omegas just don’t make in in formula one. They just don’t.
But then he finishes another race, wins it in fact, and something is different. When he gets out of the car, he first thinks he might have accidentally peed himself. It happens.
He hasn’t. He has presented.
“Oscar, what are you doing?” He forces a stern tone in his voice, while all he wants to do is press into Oscar’s touch and sigh with relief.
“Sorry.” Oscar stays right where he is. “I had to check.”
“Check what?”

Summary
“I just need to speak to Charles Leclerc” Max said. “It’s important.”
The guard shook his head. “No pass, no entry.”
Max stepped back, unsure on what to do. Then he spotted a group of reporters near the fence. He heard Charles’s name. Cameras flashed as Charles came out of the Ferrari garage, smiling and talking to someone.
For a second Max couldn’t move. He looked different now. Older, more confident and dressed in Ferrari red.
Max stood there frozen until Charles’s gaze turned his way. Their eyes met for the briefest second.
Charles frowned and his smile fading a little. He said something to his assistant then walked closer to the fence.
“Do I know you?” Charles asked. His voice was careful and polite.
Max opened his mouth but nothing came out at first. Then he said, “Yeah. You do.”
Charles looked at him longer this time. Something in his expression changed. A flicker of memory then surprise.
“Max?” he said quietly.
Max nodded. “I need your help.”
