Theoretically, Bilbo could blame Thorin propositioning him from where he'd sprawled on his bed on the brutally strong dwarves ale, but he'd started to suspect that the king was maybe not as impaired as he'd seemed.
“A tease, am I?” Thorin murmured as he lay back on the bed, letting out a heartfelt groan and shifting his hips as he made himself comfortable. “I do not mean to tease. No more than you, perhaps, providing such a view.”
Bilbo whirled back and sputtered as he caught Thorin’s eyes shift up from where they’d been hovering very deliberately around his waist. “It is unkind to mock your friends so,” he scolded, but Thorin merely grinned, face flushed.
