The deciding whistle blew. I flinched. I couldn’t mess this up now! With slightly trembling fingers—no, completely shaking—I tossed the ball up and hit it as best as I could. Everything happened in slow motion. The ball wobbled back and forth—if there was one thing to say about my serve, it had become delightfully irregular. I prayed quietly.
"Please go over the net," I murmured softly and fearfully.
But my prayers were in vain. The ball hit the net and fell to the ground.

I loved Arcane. I love these two characters. I love hot lesbians. What's not to love? This story happens in between scenes in episode 7, and has been made to fit as well as possible with the show's canon (though obviously the more you think about it the less sense it makes). Anyways, enough disclaimers, I hope you enjoy the story as much as I enjoyed writing it. It's a long one, but once I got started I couldn't stop.
