Summary
He was always there. In the back of her mind. Waiting, whispering, twisting how she saw the world.
It'd been years since the Doctor had communicated psychically with anyone, years since she'd let someone into her mind. Even universes apart, the Master was hard to shake.

Summary
Yasmin had never heard a sound like it before. Loud, agonising, the sound of a living being being torn apart on a truly molecular level. It was the kind of sound nobody with a soul could recover from hearing. A sound that shouldn't be possible.
(It was the kind of sound that would embed itself behind her eyelids and would torment her every time she shut her eyes.)
It wasn't the sort of noise her wonderful, amazing Doctor should ever have to make because the thought of the Doctor dying had never occurred to Yaz before. The laws of nature couldn't die.

Summary
In all honesty, perhaps they should have seen it coming, in all of its unlikely nature.
One by one, the team realises there's more to Lance and Zack than may be easily spotted. Though nobody really expected the quiet game being played between them to end with anything genuine. Necessity is the mother of invention, and loneliness is the father of longing.

Summary
“You should take everything people say here with a pinch of salt.”
Highschool AU where Hannibal is the (slightly) creepy new home economics teacher who may or may not be a serial killer and cannibal, Will is the slightly better looking version of a crazy cat woman (only with dogs) who’s recently gone back to work after his nervous breakdown and Principle Jack Crawford is still trying to work out how this became his life.
And that’s before you add the real adult drama.

Summary
She was born on the thirty-first of May, early but beautiful, tiny fingers moving on Will’s cheek when he finally got to hold her and sleepy eyes barely open as she tried to work out what all the noises suddenly around her were.
And ironically it was in that moment that for the first time in years Will wept, uncertain if it was due to the joy of not being alone for the first time since walking away from his past or if it was simply because looking back up at him were the eyes he had truly wished he’d never see again anywhere but in his nightmares.
He swore to himself that Hannibal would never find out about their daughter, never having gotten a chance to tell the man before his arrest. He had sworn to himself that Hannibal would never know about her and yet there was no not seeing how Hannibal froze at the sight of the little girl so alike his sister when the worse did happen.

Summary
Everything in life comes at a cost rarely worth paying, costs we do not realise we have paid until it is too late and we are left clutching at the air where it had been. It seemed from the start some vital part of William Graham had been taken away, leaving him too broken (too cracked to his very core) to ever shatter.

Summary
William Graham was hardly the sort one would approach often- he was rare, vulnerable in all his layers of issues. He was the sort who had so much potential for being as much a beast as those he walked with, the sort who could mimic all the right steps in a tango he had never danced before, his imagination having to fill in the dangerously steep gaps. It would take a single wrong step (a single easy push) for him to fall to oblivion.
So what better way to measure his success of getting into Will’s mind than through one of his biggest weaknesses: touch?

Summary
Doubt was an emotion someone like Hannibal usually looked over with disdain, cold to any pity that may have been drawn out of any 'normal' human being. There was no empathy and no tenderness as he watched the project so unlike his others wonder into the glass cage, the doubt staining Will's lowered gaze causing his lips to curve into a cruel smirk. Oh, he wasn't going to eat this one up quite yet. First Hannibal was going to enjoy slowly prying his defences apart, draining the fight with clever words better than any dagger ever could... Only then would he make the final wound by being the only one there when clever, clever little Will finally found the missing puzzle piece as he lost himself.

Summary
“You’re crying.” Q’s voice was soft and still muffled by the mountain of covers on him, light fingers tracing patterns on his pillow with barely enough pressure to allow the material to cave under them. From Bond’s angle there was no seeing the true extent of sadness that had flashed across his face.
“I think… I think my last mission went wrong. I can’t remember.”
A pause only filled by unsteady breathing.
“I think I lost something important.”
“No. You didn’t lose anything that would compromise the mission.”
“Was it important?”
“Nobody but you will shed tears over it.”

Summary
In truth Bond should have seen it coming. He should have seen how there was only so long he could hide what Q was to him from those he was trying to protect the genius from. He should have realised there was only so long he could go before Q would wonder why he never actually told him directly. Gestures only carried them so far.
As the gun rested in his hands and he rushed into the room to see a battered Q, there were many things he suddenly noticed.

Summary
The first time Bond truly believed the words that happened to fall from the genius' lips was the one time he truly didn't need to say them. Because for the first time someone trusted James, not 007.
