Summary
After high school, Will is ready to get the hell out of Hawkins, Indiana. He and Mike have agreed to stay best friends, swearing that his confession won't change anything between them. And Will actually believes that that's possible to achieve, if he can just get enough time away from Mike to actually, truthfully get over him. It's a perfect idea, really. Will will spend several months away in New York; knowing Mike, he probably won't call, and they'll only see each other on breaks. Plus, Will will be surrounded by new people, surely he'll find a guy (even if he just looks for Mike in every guy he meets), and he'll get over it. They'll be best friends again.
This plan is wrecked however when Mike reveals that he's received a scholarship offer, and that the two will be going to the same school. Now Will is cursed to see Mike everywhere he goes. He dives into his art, gets a boyfriend, and tries to push Mike away. But soon, the lines between friend and lover blur, as do the lines between right and wrong. And Will starts to wonder if he's really 'getting over Mike' or if he's actually getting everything he's ever wanted. -

Summary
Daya Betty and Kori King, friends and co-captains of roller derby team "The Bad Bettys". In a city with multiple bustling teams, roller derby isn't something they just do as a fun pass-time. Daya is dead set on winning and nothing but, and Kori just wants her friend to be happy (she's scary when she's mad). The girls decide that the best way to win is to recruit some new girls and liven the team up again. During the new round of tryouts, the team recruits one of Daya's old friends: a girl named Lydia Kollins, who's an insanely talented skater, a little aloof, and, in Kori's eyes, devastatingly beautiful. As Kori and Lydia begin to grow closer and feelings start to get more complicated, they'll have to learn to keep their feelings off of the rink and discover if they can truly be both teammates and lovers.

All the girls want to be friends with her, all of the boys want to date her, she is the definition of a teen dream. Daya is... not. She has her friends, but she is by no means well-known outside her circle. And to the others who do know her, she is known to be loud, rowdy, and for playing in a band that will probably never take off past her garage. Daya has always acted content with her social standing, but deep down she has always wanted to be well known. She just hopes that when she goes to her high school reunion in ten years people will actually remember her name. And with senior prom coming up, she sees the perfect chance to cement herself in her classmate's minds forever. The only problem? She doesn't know how to be popular. Especially not popular enough to be voted prom queen. When she decides to enlist Bosco's help, their opposite personalities clash at first. But once they begin to get closer, it becomes unclear if all the hours spent together are really going towards the whole "Project: Prom Queen" plan. Daya has always had a little crush, and maybe it's time for Bosco to stop pretending she doesn't feel the same.

Summary
Sam Star is a party princess who prides herself at being amazingly good at her job. Suzie Toot is a party clown who prides herself on being even better than Sam Star. The two have been performing at the birthday parties of kids with wealthy parents for a long long time. Working in the same community means they know each other well. But that doesn't necessarily mean they like each other. In fact, Sam finds Suzie's act immature, and her personality even worse. While Suzie thinks Sam is the most superficial person she's ever had the displeasure of meeting. But, after one chance encounter, the two end up being forced to work with each other for the foreseeable future. Then, it becomes increasingly difficult for the two of them to ignore each other. Feelings of annoyance and contempt begin to pile up, as well as a weird sort of tension that makes both girls unbelievably flustered and a little nervous. But the two need to put all of those feelings to the back burner, and instead focus on putting on an amazing show for the kids every weekend.
Sam has sat around waiting for her prince(ss) charming for the longest time, only now she realizes that she might have to kiss a clown to find one.
