The Glen Gummies are homeless after the events of King Igthorn. Ursa Barbic allows them to move into Ursalia for the time being - their pain hit too close to home.
Sunni had been close to Buddi before, but the lost of the Glen brings them closer, much to Ursa and Gruffi's disapproval. As the children bound the adults have their own hurdles to clear, for the sake of their children's happiness.

*You know I'll be needed soon, Donald," Odin said, feeling the smaller duck try to burrow in closer to his body for warmth. He tried to pull away but stopped at the sound of the pitiful whine it got him. "Alright. You win. Five more minutes."

You just have to roll with the punches and pick yourself back up, and with Octavia's eighteenth birthday rapidly approaching, there's a whole new mess of things starting to happen. Between I.M.P. juggling being hired by Stolas's estranged daughter to protect her from an engagement she doesn't want, awkward romantic entanglements, and the looming potential of infants in the near future, there's a lesson to be learned:
Family is something that you choose for yourself. You decide what of your blood to keep, and what others to let in, and it doesn't matter if you're a teenager or in your late thirties--it's a lesson that everyone could stand to learn. Family is a living, active verb, and sometimes what you thought was dead and buried can grow and bloom again.

Blitz and Stolas have been officially Together for almost a year now, living with each other since last Sinsmas and growing closer with every day that passes. Life's been good for them lately, and Blitz is finally brave enough to do the thing he's been working himself up to for the last three months. The thing he's been trying to find the perfect way to say since six months ago, when Stolas started feeling less like a boyfriend, and more like coming home.
If Blitz can manage to get the words out, that is. He's planned the perfect Date Night for them, on Valentine's Day no less, but things just seem to keep going wrong for our favourite Idiots in Love. Sometimes spontaneous romance takes a lot of careful planning, and Blitz has never been much of a plan guy...

The impulses take over as Stolas' depression take hold and he needs to get away for a bit. Good thing Fizzarolli is there to help put things into perspective for him.
