Summary
After decades of relative peace, the Settled Systems are on the brink of war. Communications between the United Colonies and the Freestar Collective are breaking down. The factions build up their arsenals and wait for the other to fire first. In secret, the UC assembles an army of aliens to command in battle, all under the auspices of the Xenowarfare Division.
Hadrian Sanon, the daughter of famed Admiral François Sanon and the youngest captain in UC Marine Corps history, leads the teams responsible for acquiring potential Xenoweapons from whatever world they may inhabit. Her normalcy is upended when her superiors order her teams to field-test a new kind of Xenoweapon: human super soldiers augmented with alien genetics. The only hitch? They're teenagers.
