“Good for her.”

Celine stared.
Rumi stared back.
“Do you actually listen to music?”
“Sometimes.”
“Your definition of sometimes is concerning.”
Rumi ignored her.
“She’ll be staying in Seoul for the foreseeable future.”
Rumi looked up.
“And?”
“And you’re going to be assigned to her.”
Silence.
Rumi looked at the photograph again.
Then back at Celine.
“No.”
Celine blinked.
“You haven’t even met her.”
“I don’t need to.”
“Rumi.”
“I’m busy.”

basically a rewrite of canon, starting at the Golden rehearsal and going through the pattern reveal and beyond.Rumi ofc has a more tragic past where Celine physically and emotionally abused her with a guise for improvement. (it's giving mother gothel)
