    After the Battle of the Atrium, the wizarding world as a whole is left to deal with the aftermath. Yet, said aftermath is not the same for everyone involved.

    As Harry and Dumbledore embark on a race against time to find and destroy Voldemort's Horcruxes, Hannibal and Will serve aims of their own, helping or sabotaging depending on their schemes.
    But, the same way the Golden Trio will have to face the ineluctable war coming their way, the Murder Husbands are doomed to bury some more secrets and skeletons in their shared closet, or end up being buried by them.
    While Harry, Ron, Hermione, Hannibal and Will make their way toward adulthood, they all know they have to tie the loose ends of their childhood. Even if some ends come with a deadly price.

    When Grian was informed that he would be given a bodyguard for his journey to the Rift he was… well let’s just say displeased would be putting it mildly.
    Unsurprisingly, nobody in his family would listen to his very reasonable objections.
    “Grian, mate,” Mumbo had said exasperatedly in response to his complaints. “It’s not a personal insult to your abilities. It’s just a matter of national security, you know? Think of it like… extra insurance.”
    “More like extra annoying insurance,” Grian had grumbled.
    “Oi, stop being a pain,” Mumbo had said, grabbing Grian in a headlock and rustling his hair. “Besides, every bodyguard I’ve ever had has been quite boring. You probably won't even notice they’re there.”
    Christ, Grian wished Mumbo had been right.

    Or: Scar has been hired to be Prince Grian's bodyguard for a year-long journey to study the Rift. Grian is not happy about it.
    Grian quickly comes to realize that he needed Scar much more than he would have thought. It takes him much longer to realize that feeling is more than friendship.

    Scar should've hung up. It was bad enough he'd actually called. He should've lied, should've said it was a misdial and pretended to be okay. He should've done a hundred things and he did the one thing he shouldn't, because despite everything that happened between them, Scar felt safest with the one who hurt him.     When his quirk first appeared, Midoriya Izuku had learned that all men were not created equal. Some were born into this world lucky and others were born into it unlucky. He also learned that he was one of those born unlucky. It would be hard not to be, considering his quirk was a Jinx.

    When the weight of his misfortune became too heavy to carry, Izuku was pushed over the edge. Only for another boy with a different "villain quirk" to pull him back over. Together, the both of them move forward trying to prove to the society that not everything painted in a black light is bad.

    The real question is whether or not Izuku can prove that to himself first.
