Summary
"Are you okay with that? I mean, being surrounded by a sea of cameras during the whole thing and all that crap.” Connor has spent the last year keeping his head down, content to let Markus be the public face of liberation. But when Markus and North announce they are getting married to secure a crucial civil rights victory, Connor and Hank find themselves personally summoned to the front lines of the celebration. Follow the weeks leading up to the most televised event in American history through the eyes of Detroit's first ever android detective. As Markus maneuvers through a high-stakes alliance with Cyberlife and utilizes a genius legal shield left behind by Carl Manfred, Hank and Connor must navigate a world of intense media scrutiny, synthetic cultural shifts, and the undeniable reality of the family they’ve built along the way.

Summary
Six years with Cole was never going to be enough, and Hank simply refused to navigate a world where he had to be a grieving father forever.
He was content drowning his pain in cheap alcohol, waiting to die.
And then Connor came along with his goofy-ass looking face and this weird fucking habit of mimicking his every movement. Watching the android discover himself and the world around him brought back feelings Hank thought were buried forever with his son. Hank wondered... if he’s being given a second chance to heal.

Summary
' “ You gonna keep gawking at yourself in the mirror, or are we getting in the car, Con? “ the voice catches him by surprise, pulling the android out of his thoughts, and his head snaps over to the Lieutenant leaning against the doorframe, barely concealed amusement dancing in his eyes.
“ Apologies Lieutena–Hank, I just want to make sure I’m presentable, “ he explains as he brushes himself off, eyes drifting back to the mirror. Hank huffs, looking him up and down with dramatic tilts of his chin.
“ Kid, you look fine, great even, better than I’ve cleaned up in years, now get in the fucking car. “ he says with furrowed eyebrows, turning on his heel to walk down the hallway as Connor blinks, sighing and following him, hand already dipping into his pocket to grab his coin, thumb rubbing the rough ridges of metal. '
Following the events of ' Culpability ', Connor makes his first visit to New Jericho, per Markus' request, and wrestles with the underlying tension his presence will bring.
I recommend reading the first fic in the series' first, these are directly connected!

Summary
One year after android liberation, Detroit is finally learning how to breathe again. Connor has traded rigid programming for awkward humanity, Hank is still grumpy enough to hate paperwork, and the world is trying to stitch itself back together after the revolution.
Then a case from a forgotten town in the Cascade Mountains lands on their desks.
No androids have been seen in Humboldt for six months. Three officers vanished investigating an abandoned lumber mill. The locals watch strangers like prey animals sizing up a trap. And the deeper Connor drives into the fog soaked wilderness, the more the silence starts to feel alive.
Something is waiting in the woods.
Something that should not exist in a world where androids won freedom.
And by the time Connor's LED flashes red, it is already too late to turn back.
