Pete wasnt the most empathetic guy. He was selective. He didnt give a shit if some random was getting shoved around, but as soon as mikey was slightly more quiet than usual (even though his usual is quiet) pete was all over him. His sweet eyes dripped with pity, making mikeys stomach war between nervousness and love. Before the taller boy knew it, tight arms were pulling him in, forcing his body to lock up. But mikey quickly melted. Pete was breathing like a baby against his neck, hands and eyes checking all over for injuries.
