Summary
As they settled into their seats at the table left of Wille, Walter leaned over, asking, "Is everything okay with Simon?"
Wille's brow furrowed and he looked in confusion to his friend. Even though he hadn't talked to Simon yet this morning, his boyfriend hadn't mentioned anything wrong when they'd been texting last night.
At the prince's confused look, Walter went on to explain, "I saw him out by the lockers, and he seemed. . . like, really stressed."
Henry popped his head around his best friend, nodding in confirmation as he added, "Yeah, man. He kinda looked like he was gonna puke."
Wille opened and shut his mouth, not sure how to respond to the two. He just shook his head in response, knowing his face was conveying how confused he felt.

When Simon shows up to school distracted, distraught, and clearly anxious about something, Wille isn't sure what to think. He's even more confused about Simon's clear reluctance to talk about it. Eventually, Simon opens up and Wille learns more about Simon's past - namely, his father.
