Seungmin is set to leave in an hour when the infuriating governor finds him again.
“General Kim!” the unwelcomed voice rings out and Seungmin wonders why the horses couldn’t be ready an hour earlier.
“What is it now…” Seungmin grumbles to himself as he turns to face the man.
“I come bearing a gift, to send you off for your long journey and as thanks for sparing out town.” The man says, beckoning another young man forward. Seungmin frowns. Neither of them are carrying anything.
“This,” The governor announces as he ushers the man forward. “Is our most prized omega. I’m sure he will serve you well.”
Seungmin stares at him, stupefied for several seconds. And then he begins to feel anger simmer and rise.
“...you’re giving me an omega?” Seungmin finally repeats slowly.

Summary
None of it soothes him, none of it cools his nerves, or his body. Not when Felix's touch is still there, searing through skin, through tendon and muscle and bone. As if his pink fingers are reaching for something deep in Seungmin's consciousness that makes him grit his teeth. An unaddressed need he had been harbouring for some time.
"Felix, it's hot," Seungmin says and he can hear the unusual annoyance in his voice. Unusual because this isn't how he speaks to Felix on the regular. This isn't the endless patience, not the satin gloves. "Felix," he repeats the name when nothing happens, the round fingertips continue to dig into his skin, and then a sweaty temple presses firm and stubborn into his hipbone.
Felix's eyes remain close, almost as if deep in sleep. A picture of innocence; his face peaceful, lashes fluttering against pink and freckled cheeks. His hair has spilled along the ground like a halo, or molten gold.
From certain angles he looks like a dandelion seed. From others, he looks like something that would hurt to touch.
In the middle of the heatwave their AC units break down. Sex seems like a good way to deal with the heat.
