The other prisoner hunched over in the corner shifted at the sudden light that entered the cell as Keith was roughly thrown to the ground. Keith’s Blade mission was fairly simple. Rescue this prisoner from the Galra, bring him back safely to headquarters.
Keith winced as he drew nearer and could actually see the damage inflicted on this body. His face was littered with bruises, and he was sitting in a pool of blood. Honestly, the likelihood this prisoner would even survive the escape seemed low. Ignoring the gnawing dread in the pit of his stomach, Keith pushed aside his thoughts and began to work faster.
