Three years ago, they fell in love. It didn't work out. Now Ben is the world famous Kylo Ren, concert pianist made famous by his blend of classical and jazz, and Rey is nearing the end her career at Juilliard. When circumstances bring them back together again, they're forced to confront the pain they've both spent three years trying to get past.

“Are yousa Rey?” A gungan stepped forward, tripping on nothing and nearly falling onto his face.
“Uh.” Rey watched the gungan right himself. “Yes, I’m Rey.”
Before she knew what was happening, the gungan threw his arms around her, picking her up and swinging her back and forth.
“Oie Boie, meesa most excited to meeta yousa!”
Rey squirmed, trying to unpin her arms, which were trapped in the gungan’s grip.
“Put me down, please.”
The gungan put her down immediately. She stumbled back a few steps.
“Who are you?” she asked.
The gungan grew serious. “Meesa yousa’s dada.”
Rey shook her head. “I’m sorry, what? My...what?”
“Yousa Rey Rey Binks!” The gungan threw his arms out as if his news was a wonderful surprise. “Meesa Jar Jar Binks. Meesa yousa dada!”

Summary
He felt a hand on his shoulder and opened his eyes, gasping. He blinked rapidly, taking in his surroundings. There are stars all around, and a path leading to doorway after doorway.
Where was he?
He remembered the touch on his shoulder and twisted quickly, a frown wrinkling his brow as he stared down at the young woman before him. She was very beautiful, long curling hair, petite like his mother, with dark eyes.
There was something familiar about her.
“Who are you?” he asked, trying to process the many rapid emotions flooding his system. Is he dead? Is this this afterlife? The great oneness of the force?
“Ben—" Her voice broke off, thick with emotion as she stared at him. “I’m so happy to meet you.” She started to reach towards him, but stopped herself and clasped her hands in front of her instead. “My name is Padmé.” -
