Summary
A modern girl dies and is reborn as Jocelyn Stark as she’s plagued with dreams of dragons and books and buildings made of glass that are higher than castles and the undead rising again. Those in the south would call it a type of madness that she needs to be burned for, while the North would call her a greenseer. An urge to visit the Tourney of Ashford leaves her to meet Daeron Targaryen, son of Maekar, also known as Daeron the Drunken and an unlikely friendship is struck. Many things change but many things stay the same as well.
Jocelyn and Daeron aren’t going to be lovers but they’re not friends either, but instead a secret third thing: sharing the existential horror and weight of prophecy.

Alternate take on the Esmeralda/Casino Cruise arc, because in a perfect world it would be longer and more fleshed out. Also if the author hadn’t been allergic to the OBVIOUS implications of the twin dragons. “We share one body and soul” get the fuck out of my face.
