Summary
Jim has a nightmare about the events of Tarsus IV, Spock is there to comfort him. When they meet with Spock prime again everything changes, and Spock struggles to keep a lid on his emotions.
A much darker sequel to the previous works - can be read as a standalone as long as you're aware they shared a bed the other night when Jim was drunk.
TW: Tarsus IV is kinda its own trigger warning, but child death, starvation, genocide and torture.

“Kirk, I have a medical report from your CMO saying that you two are…” She squints. “‘Exhibiting an inability to tolerate a loss of physical contact without severe and shared cephalalgia?’ So what, he’s saying that your heads hurt if you stop holding hands?”
Jim lifts his and Spock’s arms into view of the camera. “Yes ma’am.”
“Really?” The Admiral says in a tone of unabashed curiosity.
“I can assure you, ma’am, we are not doing this for recreational purposes.” Spock says dryly.
...
Or the one in which Jim gets hit with Sex Pollen TM, but Spock doesn't like his consent dubious so politely declines.
Luckily, that crisis is averted. Unluckily, Jim and Spock realize they have been left unable to go without touching for more than a few minutes without excruciating pain. If only they could cure it through the power of confessing their feelings and having scorching hot sex!Bookmarked by NabiHime
