Every year, one of the four largest clans was obliged to organize the Hunt. This year, the honor of hosting the event went to Hongjoong and his pack. He was never the biggest fan of mating runs, but he had to participate, whether he liked it or not. Hongjoong wasn't too thrilled about it. Summary
Park Seonghwa is a paramedic in the less privileged part of the city. He takes his job very seriously, and he spends most of his time alone. When an ambulance call leads him to a wounded gang leader, he treats the man with kindness and gentle hands despite his reputation. Summary
“Jongho-“ Jongho grunts, leaning forward to place a ginger kiss at the base of his throat. “Jongho, I’m scared.” He whispers.
A sort of melancholy surges through him. He had never been past the gates, the villagers were too protective and fearful of anything happening. He freezes as he steps over the threshold, waves of unidentifiable emotions crashing over his head.
He turns, watching as the cliffs shrink. In the distance, he can see the little figures of the villagers lining up along three cliffsides, and his heart aches.
Seonghwa and Yeosang learn to adjust to a new life with their captors.
