Summary
Mid season four - Ever since Charlotte’s murder, every breath Dan takes burns like a brand. Drowning in equal measures of rage and despair, he takes his pain out on the person who he has decided is to blame for everything. Lucifer.
But when his harsh words produce an adverse effect in his least favorite consultant, Dan is faced with the realization that there’s no need for him to tell Lucifer he’s guilty. He already knows.
Or, Lucifer uses Dan's own anger as a way to punish himself for the death of Charlotte and the results spiral further than Dan could have ever realized.
