Summary
Cait is a 35-year-old FBI agent who is uptight and obsessed with her work. She was an unmated omega with a kid. Five years ago, she decided that she wanted a child.
She went to Las Vegas, known for its exotic pastime for alphas and omegas. At one of the “masked” parties, she fucked an alpha and got pregnant.
Five years ago, Vi's whole family was eliminated by an enemy gang. She was left for dead in the middle of a massacre, but luckily for her, Vi was found by the S.W.A.T task force. Her wounds were tended, and she was put in jail.
Five years passed, and Vi was freed, with one condition - she should help an FBI agent capture Silco. She took it, hoping to finally take revenge on the man who destroyed her life and her family. She was freed by a gorgeous, faintly familiar agent who did not trust her, but the deal was a deal, and they both had more chances fighting the crime lord together than separately.

Set in an A/B/O world mixed with basketball and exploration into politics/gender expression, and love. This is a CaitVi story, no slow burn but a good build-up from best friends into their established relationship. Also, let's see how many Buffy references I can put in this before someone says too much.

Caitlyn's hand rose, slowly, unsteadily. Blood slicked her fingers as she found the helmet's seal. A hiss of pressure, then the whine of servos and finally the clang of metal hitting stone.
Vi's world tilted.
Dark hair. The realization struck like a blaster bolt. Soft features though with charisma. In front of her it wasn’t the rough-edged man she'd imagined beneath that helmet, but-
"A woman," Vi breathed without meaning to, her words left unexpectedly. The evening light caught on high cheekbones, on long lashes clumped with blood and sweat. One eye was blank, just scarred emptiness but the other... blue as Ilum's crystal caves, brimming with unshed tears.

An alternate universe where Caitlyn is a lost Mandalorian and Vi a rogue Jedi. A bounty (fate) connects them and there's no way they could part ways, or is there?

She looks over to where powder is and she sees powder motionless on the floor. There's blood dripping from her head, lots of blood. Vi could see one of her ribs dislocated from a distance. Eventually the enforcers disappears and then in that moment, Vi is dragging herself across the darkness to get to powder.
