Viktor thinks he has his roommate all figured out: a popular, gorgeous golden boy who’s probably coasting through college on charm and biceps alone. After the explosive events at his commune, Viktor is captured and taken prisoner by Noxus. Revived by Apex Shimmer, subjugated to experimentation and torture, Viktor is used to develop their weapons via his link to the arcane.
Jayce finds out but is faced with a choice: to finish what he started or to find a new recourse. No matter what he chooses, Viktor is always at the center of it all.

Silence, as the laws of convection dictates, sinks, introducing a chill to the early summer, and the two of them sit in its presence like they’re enjoying the moment, the beauty of it, admiring the overpass like tourists would.
It’s only when Viktor speaks, subdued and his accent peeking through, throat rumbling with something akin to afterthought, that reality whispers that they aren’t quite tourists: “My parents used to come here.”
