Summary
Arnold, a sleep-deprived technician who has been following the instructions of 'Dispatch' to the letter, suddenly decides that handing over his Data Driver is not something he wants to do. As he sneaks around the Fazbear Diner prototype and uses decoy suits to drain 'Dispatch's' power, he ends up meeting with the true source of the voice, F10-N4, also known as M1.
M2, the mimic that has most definitely been killing people, is after him, and F10-N4 believes that only Edwin, her dear husband, can fix it. But upon arriving in Edwin's last location, Arnold finds it lacking in everything, save for a recording of M2 using Edwin's voice as Edwin begs for help in the background.
With Edwin presumed dead, Arnold decides to hightail it out of there, Data Driver still in his possession.

It started with the smell. A rotten odor that was a combination of something similar to the disgusting gas station bathroom in a sketchy part of town he once had to use, fish, a sickly sweet scent that was reminiscent of eating too much candy, and, strangely, metal was mixed in as well.

Sometimes, it ventured out to the entrance hall that led to the Welcome Show, just to activate the motion triggers and hear that voice, his voice. Daddy. Edwin.
Sometimes, that voice made it want to cry (even though it can’t cry), and it would curl up with its face in its hands and pretend anyway, even though that’s not allowed, and it always had to punish itself after.
Sometimes, that voice made it want to scream instead, and when it did, it would use the most wretched, tearing scream it had in its memories. One that it had inherited from Mommy’s copied memories (why is she allowed to pretend and I’m not), the one that had torn from her voice box when there was a car and David—don’t think about that
