Summary
Junko Enoshima, known as Kamen Rider Despair, has been on a rampage as leader of Ultimate Despair. However, a group of individuals at Hope's Peak Academy formed the Future Foundation, which consisted of Makoto Naegi, Kaede Akamatsu, Chiaki Nanami, Hajime Hinata, Juzo Sakakura, Chihiro Fujisaki, Miu Iruma, and Usami, to prevent Junko from plunging the world into Despair. Makoto became Kamen Rider Hope, Kaede became Kamen Rider Note, and Chiaki became Kamen Rider Glitch. However, on one tragic night, all three of them were killed by Ultimate Despair. So, the Future Foundation recruits a new member, Komaru Naegi, to become the second Kamen Rider Hope. Can she defeat Ultimate Despair and save the world?

You sat beside him at the worktable, both of you hunched over the delicate motherboard you’d been assembling for the past hour. The upcoming robotics competition had the entire club on edge, but you and Senku? You worked in near-perfect sync, an unspoken rhythm developed after years of shared projects.
“Hand me that resistor,” Senku muttered, eyes locked on the circuit in front of him.
You passed it over without looking up, your own hands occupied with securing a bundle of tiny wires. “Oh, by the way, I can’t make it to the competition meeting on Sunday,” you said casually.
“Huh?” Senku barely reacted, focused on the delicate work in his hands.
“I have a date.”
The sound of snapping plastic made you look up just in time to see Senku freeze, his usual steady hands crushing a delicate connector in his grip. A few sparks flickered from the motherboard as the small piece of technology short-circuited right in front of you.

Gen could understand that he was possibly a bit obsessed with Senku. The scientist’s mind was so fascinating, and after Gen had felt like he had conquered the mind of every single one of the Ishigami villagers, of the ex Tsukasa’s Empire’s members and also of the kingdom of science newcomers, only the scientist remained standing.
What were his motives? Was it only the love for science fuelling him? Was he really so high above human emotions, never getting overwhelmed by them, or was his just a carefully crafted mask?
Point was, Gen really wanted to unravel the complex puzzle that was Ishigami Senku. It was academic interest, you could say.

During Gen's self assigned mission to understand the wonders of Senku's mind, he finds the perfect opportunity for some self reflection and has some quite interesting revelations.
