The (Nearly) Last Temptation of Lord John Grey by NicholeS
Fandoms: Outlander (TV), Outlander Series - Diana Gabaldon, Outlander & Related Fandoms

Summary
Jamie has apologized - a rare thing - and asked what he can do to make it right. In the pause before he answers, John lets himself imagine every answer he can't give: what he'd say if the old restraints didn't hold, what he's carried since Ardsmuir, and what it might have meant to be loved by both Frasers at once.
John Grey has spent years learning not to want the things he wants. When Jamie comes to make amends for their worst fight yet, John finds himself cataloguing everything he could ask for - a kiss, an equal home, a shared son - and everything he won't. Not a story about giving in. A story about how much it costs not to. A missing-scene meditation on the (nearly) last temptation of Lord John Grey.

Fight With Me by NicholeS

Summary
Jamie asks John to fight beside him instead of against him - a request that could cost John more than his oath to the Crown. Between old wounds there are older jealousies, and the ghost of a marriage neither of them can quite stop circling back to.
Written in screenplay format for this space with a pinch more exposition and internal thought than screenplays normally provide, pardon any dust/artifacts converting from Final Draft.

Summary
They thought Jamie was dead.
Claire and Lord John Grey are left behind to mourn the man they both loved in very different ways. Bound together by grief, guilt, and the pieces of Jamie they each carry, they find themselves confronting what neither of them has ever been willing to say aloud.
Sometimes surviving means finding someone who remembers what you cannot bear to remember yourself.
A missing moment and gift between Claire and John, filling in the gaps left by Outlander. Meant to follow S7e11, before -

Summary
Nora can hear the dead. It's less glamorous than it sounds - mostly it means cold diner coffee and complicated conversations with people who have terrible timing, even in retrospect.
Dean has been haunting the same city for thirty years over a girl, a pager, and a split-second distraction. He figures one more unfinished thing won't hurt.
What he didn't expect was her.

Summary
Six months after the events in Toronto, Vicki Nelson tracks Henry Fitzroy to British Columbia—on business. Mostly.
A client’s missing twin, a too-serene couple’s retreat, and a haunting that refuses to stay on the correct side of life and death force Vicki and Henry into close quarters, closer lies, and the familiar danger of pretending nothing has changed.
But some bonds don’t fade with distance. Some ghosts don’t know how to leave. And some connections—human or otherwise—were never meant to be resolved quietly.
Set shortly after the series finale, with canon intact and emotions very much unfinished.

Summary
When a musician and an actor meet by chance at a quiet bar, the drinks aren’t the only things that start flowing. A forgotten credit card, a shared script, and one dangerously convincing kiss blur the line between performance and possibility.
*New chapters coming soon for Les Etoiles, The Edge Series, and Bonesing. Didn't have much time to write during Grammy voting season, so just roughed this one out before I forget details. Will continue it later. Forgive that some spellings are American and others are British; didn't have time or desire to fix it.

Summary
What if Brennan and Booth’s story didn’t have to wait until grief pushed them together? After the mistletoe kiss, before the tragedy of Vincent Nigel-Murray, there was space—just enough—for an awkward dinner invitation, a nudge from Angela, and the smallest shift from colleagues to something more. A missing-scene bridge fic about the connection they might have been building all along.
Timeline placement: This fic is set after “The Santa in the Slush” (3x09) and before “The Hole in the Heart” (6x22).
Canon divergence: Explores a gradual pivot into romance that canon skipped, bridging mistletoe kiss → established intimacy.
Writing this in response to a Bones subreddit itching for more backstory on the intimacy of these two.

After a slow-burning dance at a family wedding, Amy and Caleb find themselves revisiting old rhythms—and discovering something deeper in the quiet space between grief and healing. What begins as a simple shared moment under the stars becomes a conversation years in the making.
A soft AU continuation imagining what could have unfolded between Amy and Caleb in the seasons after Ty’s exit. Featuring shared history and a love that doesn’t rush.

As evening settles over the rescue sanctuary, Ava finds herself resisting sleep—and Atty offers a strange but gentle solution: a bedtime story pulled from the archives of dream theory. What begins as an observation becomes a moment of rare vulnerability, as they trade reflections on memory, grief, and the strange comfort of temporary fictions—a silence shared but not empty.

A soft sci-fi exploration of connection, cognition, and what remains when everything else is gone. It has a vibe of A[I]ien—alien with AI brewed in.

Summary
This is chapter deux of Les Étoiles, the first date for non-A-listers Gwen and Raul after their meet cute at the birthday party in Les Étoiles / Starstruck. Now that they've realized they already know each other, the gloves come off to reveal the man and woman behind the curtain.
This one is hybrid: two writers roleplaying each character. I considered editing it down to be a little more seamlessly linear, but thought that may take away from some of the beauty of each writer responding to the other. I've adjusted the layout, but not the words themselves or their sequence.

Summary
What happens when two celebrities meet at a birthday party and discover they already know each other? How do you mesh your life on and off the screen and microphone and get to know the real person behind the music, the character, and the awards?
As I was writing this, the characters told me they may want more than one interlude together so I may turn this into a contemporary series a la my Edge series of OG/OC work. If you'd like to read more of their adventures, sound off in the comments. Shall we go to his apartment next? Or a green room backstage? New York, Chicago, LA or beyond - so many options.
Primarily in English, portions en français. A bit bi...lingual.
