Summary
A year and a half after the events of Arcane Season 1 an uneasy peace has settled between Piltover and the new nation of Zaun. Caitlyn is now sheriff of Piltover, Vi is her trusted partner, and Jinx continues to spread her special breed of chaos throughout the streets of the Undercity.
Vi goes missing one evening, taken hostage by an ambitious Chem-Baron, known only as the Spider, looking to lure Jinx into a trap. With a deadline of 48 hours, Zaun's Loose Cannon is forced to team up with the Sheriff of Piltover in order to save her big sister. The two women must face off against vicious criminals, inner demons, and - most importantly - each other.
Otherwise known as the one where Jinx and Caitlyn try and endure 48 hours in each other’s company without murdering one another.
TW: The trigger warning tags in the description are largely unrelated to the story proper, but there will be flashbacks to when Jinx captured Caitlyn at the end of Season 1

Jinx pushed herself from the chair, her heavy footsteps making their way to the table. Dull and teary shimmer-filled eyes gazed back at her restrained sister before taking the blue shining orb from its place on top of the cupcake‘s frosting and leaving Vi alone.
Just like she had done to her.
Her next step was to fulfill the wishes of the dead. The voices that continued ringing inside her head, now added with a new one.

Summary
What if Caitlyn hadn't let Jinx go? What would happen if Caitlyn had killed Jinx and stopped Jinx from bombing Piltover? What happens to her and Violet? What becomes of Caitlyn?
Caitlyn kills Jinx after being kindapped instead of letting her get the jump on her. As a result, Vi is unbelievably pissed and vows to avenge her sister despite Caitlyn wanting to remain a team and bring peace to Piltover together with as few causalties as possible. Silco is put in jail and Caitlyn becomes Sheriff but despite working so hard to keep the Lanes safe, Caitlyn never seems to be doing enough to fend off the anger from Zaun.
